I find this fascinating and very hopeful for a lot of migraineurs with chronic daily debilitating migraines... who are at the place they need to do something a bit more agressive to deal with their disease.
Great video from Good Morning America about a female patient and a corresponding article below the video about a male patient who's also seen positive results after surgery.
Great information on the surgery... as well as an excellent point made by Cathy Glaser of the Migraine Research Foundation on page 2. She notes that this is not something someone newly diagnosed with migraine would be advised to consider. This is a more extreme treatment option and does come with sets of complications you'd need to be fully aware of before proceeding. That said though... this could be lifechanging for many if it proves to be effective in the coming years.
