Well, so much for being back and posting on a regular basis. I kind of got caught up in a new project and in doing my financial planning (seems like tax time always does that to me) and weeks went by SO fast.
I hope you all are doing well. I've only had one migraine-type headache since I last posted and I was able to easily knock it out with my Imitrex/Lortab combo. I have had a bunch of different headaches though that I am finding must be connected to allergies or the changing seasons.
My migraines are always on the left side (mostly temple and up).... and these headaches are on the right hand side and do not respond at all to the Imitrex. The Lortab of course will mask over the pain for a few hours, but then the headache is still there when that pain killer wears off.
Once I realized these could be allergy headaches I also started to notice that I was really stuffy every morning and if I put pressure with my fingers on my sinuses, it hurt.
I actually went through this once before but was in a bit of denial that I could have allergies. I've never had a problem with them before and think it's strange that I would now be having problems at 35-years-old. I know they can come on later in life, but I guess am just hoping that's not the case.
Just thought I would post this in case any others of you out there are having strange headaches this time of year and hadn't thought about adult-onset allergies.
No more migraines,
Kelli :)
